You can join thousands of others around the world in laughter and learning during Big Library Read, the world’s largest digital book club. From March 23rd to April 13th, booklovers can enjoy stand-up comic Michael McCreary’s hilarious yet insightful memoir, Funny, You Don’t Look Autistic, from their public library as an e-book or audiobook with no waitlists or holds. Big Library Read is an international reading program that simultaneously connects thousands of readers around the world with an e-book through public libraries. Funny, You Don't Look Autistic is the 21st selection of this program which began in 2013 and takes place three times per year. Future dates are June 22 - July 6 and November 2 - 16; titles to be announced. Readers can also join an online discussion after reading the book. The free program runs until April 13th and only requires a BCLS card to get started.

Funny, You Don't Look Autistic was published in 2019 by Annick Press and can be read on all major computers and devices through Libby, including iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets and Chromebook without waitlists or holds. Through Libby, readers can also send the e-book to their Kindle. The title will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, and there are no late fees.
