The Library Company of Burlington is open to the public. Masks and appointments are no longer required for entry into the library (per EO #242).
However:

  • Masks are still recommended, especially for those unvaccinated (per CDC).
  • The library is still reorganized for social distancing and seating is very limited.
  • Please continue to limit your time in the library, the number of people in your party, and the amount of personal belongings brought into the building.
  • Hand sanitizing stations are positioned throughout the library for your convenience.
  • We will no longer call you when requested items arrive, unless your notification preference is by phone. Patrons with email and text notification, check for messages.
  • Curbside pickup is still available for those that prefer it. Please call us at 609-386- 1273 to schedule a pickup time Monday/Wednesday 2-4pm and Tuesday/Thursday 5- 7pm. Fines on your account cannot exceed $10.

Burlington Bookends is an organization that affords students in grades 6 through 12 the opportunity to work together to further the mission of the Library Company of Burlington through a variety of volunteer events and special activities. Teen volunteers are positive examples for younger patrons and encourage library usage and a love of reading, The motto of the Burlington Bookends is “Keep up the Books!”
