In 1972, electronic engineers Gil Cecchin and Art Seymour established Elenco Electronics, Inc., which makes innovative toys and educational devices, including the award winning Snap Circuits. Designed to make learning fun, each Snap Circuit kit comes with an easy-to-use instruction manual that allows children to construct extraordinary projects. Using the pictures from the instruction manual as a guide, they can build radios, saucer launchers, and even games like Battleship! Check out the video below for some examples of how these circuits can snap together to create almost anything.

If your children want to learn more about electronics, mark your calendar! Local technology expert Sujit Pal will be coming to the Evesham and Bordentown libraries to lead Snap Circuit Programs. After attending MIT, Sujit went on to work in information technology and services. Through these library programs, he will teach your kids about electrical flow and other electronic basics while also having them construct fun projects like light shows, alarms, and flying saucers. Registration is required, so sign up now!
