Who are the Friends of the Library? Burlington County Library and many branches are lucky to have active members of the community who support our libraries and the services provided every day. Our Friends raise funds through book sales and special events. They also promote library services to the community and host programs, as well as provide supplemental funds to support the library experience.

These past few months have made it difficult to host traditional fundraising opportunities, but that doesn't stop these ultimate library lovers! AmazonSmile is a simple way for you to support your favorite charitable organization every time you shop, at no cost to you. Through this easy-to-use program, you can support Friends organizations at the Burlington County Library, Cinnaminson Library and Pemberton Community Library. AmazonSmile is available at smile.amazon.com on your web browser and can be activated in the Amazon Shopping app for iOS and Android phones.

We want to recognize the many members of the Friends of the Library groups who work so hard to support the library system. We truly value their dedication to library services and community. Interested in becoming a Friend of the Library? Check our website for more information. Please contact your local branch for specific information.

Remember, a lot of time and funds go into providing the ultimate library experience, and much of this is made possible by the Friends of the Library. An additional resource regarding library love is I Love Libraries, an initiative started by the American Library Association to show support for libraries everywhere and provide resources for those library champions looking to make a difference at their library and in their community. Find out what your library is worth on the I Love Libraries site by entering your number of specific library experiences to calculate the value of your library use. You might be amazed at what your library experience would cost without a library and its Friends group!
