Denzel Washington recently reconnected with his childhood librarian on her 99th birthday while promoting his newest film, Fences. The Academy Award winning actor used to live across the street from the Mount Vernon Public Library and Miss Connie still remembers the first time he came over to ask for a book. Following the posting of her video, the retired librarian received a call from her long-time fan!
