The Garden Club participates in many community and civic activities. We are a "working" club. In December, we make and present live wreaths for all public buildings. We plant annuals at the Mount Laurel Library and the Veterans Memorial at Laurel Acres Park each spring. A tree is planted on Arbor Day. We maintain the Butterfly Garden at Paws Farm. We decorate Farmers Hall and a room in the Smithville Mansion at Christmas time. A $1,000 scholarship is awarded yearly to a Mount Laurel graduating senior attending college.
