Have you checked out the wide variety of VOX books available throughout the library system? These read-along books come with built-in audio boxes that read aloud to children while they follow along. The stories are enhanced with music and noises. VOX books are perfect for new readers because they even signal when it’s time to turn the page! Children can also read VOX books with a caregiver and add to their 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten book count!

VOX Books are easy to use, too. Use the control buttons on the audio box to play, pause, stop, and adjust the volume. Readers can listen with the speaker or use headphones. They are perfect to use on-the-go as the battery-powered audio box will read 100 to 150 times between charges. You can check books out for four weeks (and they’re renewable). Leave the charging to us!
