Kids ages 5 & up were invited to the Pemberton Library for a program all about famous artist Michelangelo this past weekend!  They were able to paint on a "ceiling" just like Michelangelo did at Sistine Chapel. After learning about his life and how he became to be a famous sculptor and painter, the kids were instructed to head under their tables to paint works of art that are sure to be as famous as David one day! They were very concerned about getting paint dripped on them while painting upside down, but luckily for them, this didn't happen!

Even though Michelangelo did not paint the Sistine Chapel by lying upside down, but by standing on scaffolding, everyone really enjoyed the experience of painting on a "ceiling"!
