With sudden school closures, parents and guardians have become the only in-person educators most children see daily. Scholastic has developed resources for learning at home designed to help caregivers with projects to keep kids reading, thinking and growing. Scholastic Learn at Home provides 20 days’ worth of active learning journeys designed to reinforce and sustain educational opportunities for those students who are unable to attend school. Scholastic offers lessons from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Caregivers can select the grade level for their child(ren) and follow the tasks laid out day by day. Content includes videos and articles on a variety of topics ranging from math and science to history and culture. Articles may include additional content such as audio and comprehension questions. Each day children are encouraged to complete the Daily Reading Quest where they read an article, story, or chapter of a book then choose one of the daily reading challenges.
