The Burlington County Library System is so lucky to have a team with wide-ranging knowledge and diverse interests. While many customers may know the names and faces of librarians at their local branch, we want to take the time to introduce more of our staff from around the system. So, each month we'll feature a different staff member from one of our locations. Take a moment to learn more about our team and explore their favorite things from our collection of books, movies, and much more.

Happy New Year, BCLS users!  Rick Yankosky, your friendly, neighborhood librarian here to share with you some of my favorite reads, listens and views of the past year. But first, a little about me:

A lifelong Burlington County resident and library user, I began working for the library system in 1996. I met the woman who would become my wife, and the mother of my two children, while working the circulation desk at our main location, the County Library in Westampton, nine years later. I earned my Master's degree in Library Science from Clarion University in 2013 and have served customers at our Pinelands branch location in downtown Medford ever since. 

When I'm not working (or playing tennis), I'm devouring content of all kinds: comics, music, books, films, television shows, etc.  Sharing all that the library has to offer with our users is one of my great professional joys, so without further ado, here are some of my favorite items added to the library catalog in 2016.
