The Burlington County Library System is so lucky to have a team with wide-ranging knowledge and diverse interests. While many customers may know the names and faces of librarians at their local branch, we want to take the time to introduce more of our staff from around the system.
Hello everyone! I am Elizabeth Moore. I have worked at the Cinnaminson Library for three years now. I started as a student assistant and I have moved up to a library assistant. As a library assistant, I get to write the Youth Services events calendar and have craft programs for the kids. After coming to this library as a child, I love getting to see other children come in, learn and grow through reading, and participate in the programs we have here.
Fun facts about me:
- I love being with my two cats, Noodle and Cheerios, and my two guinea pigs, Marigold and Petunia.
- Some of my favorite things to do are: camping, reading, going to concerts, and taking pictures.
- I have my associate’s degree in psychology from Rowan College at Burlington County.
- I collect Pez dispensers and currently have about 220 of them.
- During October, I also work as a scare actor at Bloodshed Farms Fearfest.
Favorite Items:
- My favorite book is Beautiful Creatures which I have read more times than I can count. It’s a captivating story with romance, magic, and adventure.
- My top movie pick would be Benny & Joon. I will never get tired of this quirky, funny love story.
- Who wouldn’t love a book about what they collect? The library’s books on collectibles are a great way for any collector to learn more about their own collection!
- This spooky children’s book inspired my love for all things Halloween since it was my favorite book when I was younger. This cute tale teaches kids to be brave even when they do not think they can be.
- My favorite author is Brent Weeks. No matter what is going on in the world, you can always escape in an incredible adventure in Weeks’ books.
