During the eight-week Summer Reading Program, Burlington County children read and logged 51,429 books, earning them many well-deserved rewards including the chance to see some BCLS Youth Services librarians getting a few pies in the face.

Everyone knows “Libraries Rock” and there’s no question after this summer. We made music, colored instruments, and danced to our favorite songs! Remember, with summer winding down, there’s still plenty to do at the library before getting back into the routine of a new school year. Make visits to your local library part of the routine all year! We have programs and activities to keep the fun going, including a Back-to-School Challenge from August 13-31!
