Friends of the Library

The Burlington County Library and many of the branches are lucky to have active members of the community who support our libraries and the services provided every day. Our Friends raise funds through book sales and special events. They also promote library services to the community and host programs, as well as provide supplemental funds to support the library experience.

BCLS Foundation

The mission of the Burlington County Library System Foundation is to seek private financial support to shape libraries as a fundamental community resource for now and for future generations. You can help by donating to the Foundation. Your sponsorship dollars will help fund reading and literacy initiatives such as Early Learning Centers at libraries throughout Burlington County.

Volunteer

Many volunteer opportunities are available at the library. While duties vary from location to location, volunteers are needed to help return library material to shelves, maintain shelves, help prepare children's craft projects, index local history information, do general clerical work, and assist the Friends of the Library organization.

Please fill out the volunteer application and bring it with you when you visit your local library.

Another great source of volunteer opportunities is the Volunteer Center of Burlington County.
