Summer is the perfect time to soak up the sun and relax with a good book. And we’re here to help! Teens can sign up for our Summer Reading challenge through Beanstack to earn a badge for each book they log. Not only can users track their reading, they can also view recommendation lists that link directly to the library’s website to make requests. Activity Tracks are another fun way to earn badges! Check off items such as attending library events, trying new recipes, visiting a new park and more.  Make it more exciting by asking a friend or family member to join you!

Teens can also earn volunteer hours by participating in Summer Reading. First, sign up as a volunteer with your local branch by filling out the online application. Once confirmed, earn hours by writing book reviews in Beanstack for the books that you’ve logged for Summer Reading.
