Tri-State Jazz Society, formed in 1988, presents band and solo piano performances of traditional jazz throughout the Delaware Valley. Monthly concerts include artists who specialize in the earliest jazz styles, including New Orleans, Dixieland and Swing. Solo piano concerts feature ragtime, stride and boogie woogie styles. Concerts are open to all. Price of all concerts $20. Non-members can attend their first concert at half price ($10); members pay half price at all regular concerts. High school and college students with school i.d. and younger children accompanied by a paying adult are admitted free. The Tri-State Jazz Society is a non-profit educational corporation supported by its members.
