The Wells Mills County Park is dedicated to further promote environmental conservation and education, and to ensure that the public can enjoy the County's natural heritage amidst a Pinelands setting. There are numerous streams, bogs, swamps, freshwater lake and uplands; and rare vegetation unique to each habitat. This diversity of habitat provides food and shelter for a variety of animals that are an integral part of the Pine Barrens' ecosystems.
